Many reasons. Most importantly, you want to make sure you got what you ordered from your supplier. Secondly, normal freight forwarders have no idea of the complexity of Amazon requirements as to packaging, number of items in each box, splitting shipments of multiple items, etc. etc. Thirdly, any mistake made along your entire supply line can be VERY EXPENSIVE.

An EIN (Employer Identification Number) is a US Tax ID. If you are a US Resident you can use your Social Security number or company Tax ID if you have one. If you are an overseas seller, to import goods into the US, your freight forwarder will ask you for an EIN for clearing your goods through US Customs.

As Amazon now requires you to send to 3 different fulfillment centers in the US, sending 3 different shipments direct to Amazon from Asia could be VERY expensive. Sending to us and using Amazon’s amazing ground shipping rates to those locations could save you lots.
